About

Yanyi Ha

Archidreamer is my studio. I am a Korean-born interior designer and artist based in London, and my work was recognised with a 2018 Design Week Award.

I have an MA in Interior Design from the Royal College of Art, and I explore the relationship between architecture and nature through minimalist artwork and prints.

My work explores architecture beyond its physical form, finding movement and life in seemingly still structures. Buildings become places shaped by memories, everyday moments and personal experiences.

The same eye runs through the interiors at Archidreamer Home.

Sources of inspiration

I take inspiration from travel, architecture and nature, and from simple lines, materials that show their real texture, and objects made with a clear purpose.

A way of seeing

Architectural beauty often emerges when contrasting elements meet: a building and its surroundings, natural and man-made materials, a soft curve and a straight line, or people and the spaces they inhabit.

The work

Through simple forms and subtle movement, my work brings a sense of life to architecture. A building is more than an object; it holds the moments and memories of those who use it.
